A4F as Coordinator

ARA.FARM is a demonstration project of the production feasibility of Arachidonic Acid, from the microalga Lobosphaera sp., in a pre-industrial scale. The arachidonic acid is a fundamental ingredient in baby food products. This project stems from an identified need in the market for a plant-origin source, replacing the current fungal-origin source.
